In just four weeks, Muaythai will open one of the most inclusive chapters in its history with its official debut at the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 — a milestone that reflects the sport’s values, evolution and global vision.

From 7–9 February 2026, Abu Dhabi will welcome Muaythai Masters athletes across 30+, 40+ and 50+ age divisions, alongside Para and Special categories. The message is clear and uncompromising: Muaythai is for everyone. Age, ability or background are not barriers. What matters is the spirit to compete, to learn and to belong.

The Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 will bring together more than 25,000 participants from around the world across 32 sports, positioning Muaythai proudly within one of the largest and most diverse multisport celebrations ever staged in the region.

The Muaythai programme fully integrates sport and culture. High-level competition will take place alongside traditional disciplines such as Wai Kru, honouring athletic excellence while preserving Muaythai’s deep cultural heritage and its enduring values of respect, discipline, dignity and unity.
This historic debut is delivered under the umbrella of the International Masters Games Association, recognised by the International Olympic Committee, further reinforcing Muaythai’s growing presence within the Olympic-aligned multisport ecosystem.
The milestone strengthens Muaythai’s global development pathway and reflects the long-term vision of the International Federation of Muaythai Associations, the sole international federation recognised within the Olympic Movement for Muaythai. It is a vision built on sport for all, across all ages and abilities — fully aligned with Olympic values and the continued worldwide growth of Muaythai as a sport, a culture and a lifelong journey.
Four weeks to go. Abu Dhabi awaits.
Muaythai continues to move forward — together.
