The 15 IOC and or GAISF recognised Combat Sports met in Bangkok under the leadership of chairman Stephan Fox who is also GAISF Vice-President.
The meeting was co-shared by IOC Executive Member, Nenad Lalovic, who is also the President of United World Wrestling.
Many topics were discussed in regards to establishing a working group towards the World Combat Games. Also, discussions took place in order to do a martial arts and combat forum.
Mr. Stanislas Frossard, EPAS Executive Secretary, did an extensive presentation on behalf of the European Council. The GAISF combat commission has become a strong group within the world recognised family and 6 out of the 15 members will be part of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo.
