Athletes from 12 countries will participate in the 2024 championships which will be held from the 14th to the 18th of August in Turkey. The event is a sporting and cultural exchange between the diverse ethnic groups of central, east and north Asia.

The opening ceremony brought a spectacle to Muaythai fans in the arena with “Turksoy” artists from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan. During the championships there will also be a conference promoting sport and peace through cultural understanding.

Hasan Yildz, the President of the European Muaythai Federation and Abdullah Al Neyadi, the President of the Asian Muaythai federation, praised this initiative for the athletes and that Muaythai will continue to build bridges, unite athletes from all walks of life, promote the foundation of respect and above all, friendship.
