The leadership of the Belarus Muaythai met in the Belarus capital Minsk for the press conference to announce the European Muaythai Championships which will be held in the Palace of Sport from 4 to 11 November.

The Chairman of the Federation General Yuriy Karaev said that he is happy to again welcome international teams in Minsk and that after the successful World Championships 2017 all is ready for hosting the European Muaythai Forum.
The Vice President of the Belarus Muaythai Federation and the IFMA Executive Board member Mr. Anatoliy Simonchik passed a word from IFMA President Dr. Sakchye Tapsuwan who wished Minsk to again be the capital of European muaythai and host another amazing muaythai event.
Representatives of Belarus TV and Radio were invited to the conference asking for the details of the event and readiness of the Belarus team to again win the Best Team award.

The Head Coach of the Belarus team took the floor saying that Belarus superstars will be thrown into battle to ensure the best result but again said that the level of muaythai grew in each country and there is no distinct favourite anymore. Belarus athletes will need to give their maximum against athletes from France, Hungary, Sweden, Finland and many more which demonstrated amazing level in Bangkok at the World Championships.

Belarus medalists were present who shared their emotions of the World Championships and promised to demonstrate the best of Belarus muaythai in their home European Championships.


As IFMA concludes the World Championships in Bangkok the local organising committee in Minsk is working full steam to ensure the success of the following event and for spectators another amazing show of the art of muaythai.
