The first ever 2015 IFMA Muaythai University World Cup, under patronage of The Fédération internationale du sport universitaire (FISU or International University Sports Federation), will be held in Bangkok from the 16th to the 23rd of March, 2015. The event is organized by the Amateur Muaythai Association of Thailand, under Royal Patronage and under the sanctioning of the International Federation of Muaythai Amateur (IFMA) the world recognized sanctioning body for amateur Muaythai, the World Muaythai Council (WMC) under Royal Patronage, and in cooperation with the University Sports Board of Thailand and the Department of Physical Education of Thailand.

The official poster has been unveiled and the simple, yet modern design symbolizes IFMA’s dedication to the athletes, who are our future, as well as IFMA’s dedication in taking Muaythai towards the highest sporting recognition. The colours are inspired by the Olympic movement and the five stars in the logo stand for the five pillars of Muaythai: respect, honour, fair-play, tradition, and excellence.
